Original work on live edge wood
Below are some of my original paintings on live edge wood. Each piece is unique and is produced using mixed media on a variety of hard woods including oak, walnut and ash. Some smaller pieces can be stood upright on a shelf but all come with fittings to hang on the wall. All the wood is kiln dried and has a matt varnish finish. Most of the work is on display in galleries around Cumbria and for further information about availabilty contact me on dave@dmpooley.com. Please note that timber is a natural product which is affected by the environment and conditions that is exposed too. Although all the wood I work on has a very low moisture count natural splits and cracks may develop over time as part of the ageing process.
